                                 Исследователи Америки выявили ген, контролирующий некую связь, которая проходит между ребенком и матерью. Либо любовь к матери, либо отношение к ней как к постороннему человеку – именно этот ген влияет на такое поведение.

Данный ген производит кодировку белка, который входит в состав рецептора опиатов - синтезируемых в организме веществ, которые по строению весьма близки к наркотическим веществам их группы героина и морфина. При опыте, производимом на мышах, исследователи получили следующие результаты. Мышата, которые только что родились, всегда волнуются и издают высокочастотные писки (очень похожие на плач младенца) при отсутствии матери. Но мышата, которых лишили данного гена, даже и не замечают того, что их матери нет. Поведение таких мышат не имеет различий по отношению к обычным мышатам, не считая того, что мышата лишенные данного гена не проявляют никакого внимания к своей матери, игнорируя всякого рода заботы. 
В настоящее время ученые не имеют объяснений данного факта, почему рецептор опиатов влияет на такой вид поведения мышонка по отношению к матери.  
            Но благодаря данному исследованию ученые надеются, что в будущем научатся лечить множество заболеваний, при которых ребенок не признает своих родных и относится к ним как к посторонним людям.
